Here is the chance of a lifetime. Buford Wyoming, with a population of one is going on the action block the middle part of April, 2012. The bidding will start at $100,000 and the spec's are : ten acres, dwelling, old school house, convenience store and several signs. Be forewarned, several times a year, due to snow, U will be isolated from the rest of the world.

Now back to Lake Norman, where the grass is getting green, trees are budding and garden plants are thriving. All of this has occurred due to us having a mild winter. But we will pay fer it later on due to the fact that a lot of bugs and eggs from same were not killed by several freezes. Another spring day on tap, such as 55/75/50 with some wind out of the SSW at 5 to 10 MPH and there is a 30% chance of showers.

This being the thrid Saturday of the week, I find that I have very few things on my plate to do today. Going to hit the bank and cash a check I got from a Rambler for a book he purchased, then to the grocery store and the final stop will be the garden shop to get some onion sets and just look around fer a spell. Now this doesn't mean that I don't have plenty of stuff to do, I do, but it has been waiting fer a spell and it will wait a TAD longer until my lower back tells me it's OK.

Did a number on the blue gills yesterday down at the dock. Came close to catching two dozen of them in about an hour. They are always there, but some days U can't catch a couple to save your life and then there are days like yesterday when U get tired of catching them. Those that I'm catching are going into my 110 gallon bait tank waiting for the real Spring to get here, so I can drag them around the lake for a big Flathead or monster blue cat.

More I'm sure as The World Turns

    Just so U know.

Cheap you really need to get out more. The MDC probably has more about them but, they supposed to get bigger n taste better.
Catch one or two a year, used to catch more back in the 70's where we fish. Have not found that they bigger or better. Leather carps is supposed to be smaller. The main thang bout carps is they seem to be much better out of rivers. Avoid boars at all cost as they are strong, different like day n night. The sow I just et was almost blonde after a good bleed out. BUT carp is the other yellow meat.
Come to think on it as I remember I only remember one last year out of Salt river, may have sent Mac a piture but ti's been so long I forgot.

People can be born with allergies to most anything, some are common n some are rare.
On the other hand over time you can become allergic to most anything due to over exposure, in my case it's liberals.

    Default Happy AM or BS....

Well, the BS meter was flappin back and forth yesterday pretty good. I'm proud of ya all...LOL
O'Crap, my cup of mud is empty...BRB

Ahhh, that's better. A teaspoon of Nescafe and a smidgen of sugar, pour in the hot water and wa laa...no stiring needed.

Skip's been the travalin man again. I gota hand Skip some credit for always stoppin to smell the roses while travilin. That's somethin I can't do while travilin. I go into "Andretti" mode while drivin long distances. You might say I'm like a chess player while drivin, I have 3 or 4 moves planned ahead...LOL

Morning Precious.....I see you see me...LOL

I think it's gona be a nice clear but a "TAD" windy day. I really would like to take a few hours before noon and go fishing for some cats. Only been in the afternoons so far this year and the bite ain't been up to snuff in my book. Looks to be another 45 minutes before the lights come on outside.

Those mirror carp looks like a failed attempt at genetics...now you may fined this hard to believe but a picture of them just flat out gives me the willies....YUK

You all have a good day.
