    Default Milford Lake March Update

DAMN!, every thing I posted in the last February update, should've been posted here. BUT, when you're retired for pret'neer 40 years, you don't really give a shit what day or month it is, and not a whole lot about what year it is either. So, just transfer every thing from there, to here, mentally of course, it works, I do it all the time

Fished yesterday before this cold front.

Caught fish, but not like they should have bit. Did have a couple decent ones.

Wind was supposed to be SSE 15 but I had the boat in the air at least once in the morning.

Started east, then south, and from the west and light when I left.

I haven't jumped a boat yet this year either. I am going to give it a try tomorrow.

Jerald and me gave it a try again this afternoon/evening. REALLY slow. We did get some tentative tugs, managed to bring in one 5 +/- Bluecat.

Didn't fish today, but visited with a friend when I finally got back from town. He'd been fishing about an hour and a half. He had one Channel, 2.5+ lbs. This is where we'd been catch mostly good sized Bluecats. The weather was really crappy today. On the way back from town, drove through a short down pour of rain, little farther down the road, a short snow flurry? I reckon that's a pretty normal weather pattern for Kansas though.
No telling what will happen tomorrow, regardless what'll be predicted tonight. Ooops, there it is, gonna be WINNNNNDY, BUT, it might make for some good "surf" fishing.

Took James and his father in law out today. It was nice when the sun was out and cold when it wasn't. Wind is always a pain, but it was tolerable today. Ended the day with all of us having our limit.

Gonna brave the wind today and get out there. Haven't fished since new years eve so I'm itching to try for a Bennett trifecta.
