WHOA (means hold up in Texas)
I've got at least half a dozen remarks that I can't say. But they are funny.
Watched the race, rebuilt both carbs for my boat, and had a good day. The Coyotes are raising hell up the river about where the campsites are. They were full of horse people this weekend and now the local critters are dumpster diving.
I know the trash cans are there but it really wouldn't hurt for the people to take their bag of trash home. It will take the conservation people a day to clean up what the Coyotes and Coons don't want.Illegal Immigration

Protected? From what? I ain't seen no evidence of it around here. Barn cats and hawks will still get a woodpecker when they can, and shotgun shells work on them just like everything else. Heck, my Wife seen a squirrel run one off her nest a while back. They ain't protected worth a durn! Now they might have a law against messin' with'em, but that don't seem to be no protection at all. They got laws against stealin' and killin' and cheatin' on yer taxes and smokin' weed, but that ain't stopped any of that from happening. And them cardinals? Don't get me started on that bunch! They might wear a pointy hat, but that ain't the part that gets to the scene of the crime first. I'd put some screens on them windows before that little boy gets there if it was me. They got some pretty sharp peckers, ya know.

hello ramblers.
best way to get rid of the birds is set a little stuffed owl or hawk on the window seal boon they gone.
belly bloated like a toad thats been eating bb s that i rolled by but ill live i guess.
lady called bout the horse and i priced her for 300.hope she buys her they got 280 acres for her to roam in plus i could use the money.went to try and catch the mule i cant catch yesterday and walla it was almost to easy.ran him into the barn into the small walk way where i keep the hay stuck out my hand with an apple flavored treat in it and he stuck his head right into the loop of the rope i had in my hand.soon as the rope hit his neck he setteled down just like a well broke mule should.walked him out the corral gate and he loaded into the trailer and setteled rite down.drove over to honubie ok and delivered him to the lady mule trainer.her and her husband seem like real down to earth kinda folks.
ive bored yall enough so good day and yall play nice.

Good morning from Lake Norman where we will have a typical day for March. It is going to blow, 15 to 25 MPH with gust in the 30 MPH range out of the WNW. Weather box scores don't look bad (48/51/34). Weather for my trip tomorrow with the sports writer is looking good, but and there is alway a butt, it is subject to change.
Who said these famous words; " No matter how old you are or what you've been doing in life, you can always learn either a better way of doing things or just a better way of treating people," Betcha Cheap knows.
Spent hours on hours yesterday editing my fishing videos on some new software that I down loaded. Now I need to find out ifin my web site will handle them or ifin I will have to use youtube. People are always asking me how long it takes me to bring in a trophy blue cat and I've never been able to tell them. But in two of the videos it plainly shows how little time it really takes to fight a brute and get it into the net.
The girls got back home from Arizona about six PM yesterday and found all the pots, pans and dishes washed and the commodes flushed. Grasshopper, pay attention to what I did, it will pay off fer you in years to come.
PS, neither Kick Stand nor Jackie spoiled the floors in the house while the girls were gone, as far as my good eye could tell !
The NASTY boys and girl put on a decent race yesterday and I think the best team won, even tho I was not pulling fer them.
Today I start back to cooking for three days, so I need to hit the grocery meat section early before they cart some of the pork and chicken off to the dumpster. Also, need to stop by the garden store and see what they have for an early garden. Plus I need to fill up my three portable gas cans with that expensive gas-o-line for tomorrows trip.
More I'm sure, as The World Turns or after Cheeto Man has his morning say.Nil desperandum

Happy AM or BS
I say both and rightly so....
I was readin up on visable light that we see and that is in the range of 400nm to 700nm.
I found this interesting.....
"Many species can see light with frequencies outside the "visible spectrum," which is defined in terms of human vision. Bees and many other insects can detect ultraviolet light, which helps them find nectar in flowers. Plant species that depend on insect pollination may owe reproductive success to their appearance in ultraviolet light, rather than how colorful they appear to humans. Birds, too, can see into the ultraviolet (300–400 nm), and some have sex-dependent markings on their plumage that are visible only in the ultraviolet range."
I found it interesting about the birds and the bees...
My film imagesetter has a Helium Neon Red Laser that is in the 750nm range. Can't see it but it will put a hurtin on your eyes if ya looked at it....ISYN
Why was I readin about this stuff, well I was thinking about how they have special night vision IR goggles and camera stuff. Why can't they see with special goggles like contraptions things in the gamma and X-ray wavelenghts.....They can get pictures using it..After all, it is light but we can't see it...KWIM
Had a little excitment yesterday. No, nothing to do with the nasty boys race but I did watch the last 20 or so left turns and saw a few run out of gas. Stuff like that used to happen a lot in the old days more than it should today.
Back to the excitment. The oldest son(2 of 3) stopped by and had lunch with the HMW and myself. Since Krusty Kroger had flat iron steaks on sale Saturday for 4.99 lb, I picked up some extras for Sunday's lunch. Each one being about over a pound to pound and a quarter. Got everything cooked on the grill with some nuked spuds and started chowin down. I have mentioned how I been getting things down the wrong pipe the last year and it happend BIG time yesterday. Took a big swig of soda and sure enough, it went the wrong way. It was so much that I couldn't get my breath and as told to me by the HMW and son, my face turned bright red and I fell over sideways out of the chair onto the floor. Sonny pulled me off the floor and proceded by wrapping his arms around me and squeezed the chit out of me, you can call it the heimlick(sp) thingy. After about 10 seconds, but to them seemed like hours, I came back and was breathing normal. Made for a few minutes of quiet glares around the table. I have a red ring around my noise from hitting the floor or table on the way down. The HMW and son were shaken up more than a tad by the whole thing. Now I've had several occasions where I've passed out and it was a slow dimming kind of effect but this was like (snap my finger) quick as chit. I don't remember much of anything between getting it down the wrong pipe and waking back up from sonny squeezing the chit out of me. After things settled down around the table, we had a good tatey steak. When sonny left, I thanked him for savin me and he replied, "Any time pops" The HMW followed me around most of the day and shed a few from time to time and kept axing ifin I felt OK. I feel fine as frog hair.
SO, hows it hanging for the rest of ye all's....
