    Mr. Mac, some of the Pisces traits are definitely me. But the part about not being a leader - nope. I've always been a leader, especially when it came to getting into mischeif. LOL! Guess maybe that's why Bo and I get along so well, we're both Pisces.

    Not much going on today. I've got a hunk of deer booty thawing out that I'll cook up some way today - just haven't decided yet.

    Y'all have a good one!

    PS: Glad y'all liked the stories. I've got another to put up today, but it will be going into the cross-over section. Matt Houston - Hawaii Five-0.

    Default Good morning from the land of peace and quiet.

    It took two cups of coffee to get caught up. Actually a good way to start a morning.

    Dallas, I suggest you take 1 pink tube in the morning with a glass of water, a lavender one at noon, a yellow one at dinner, and an orange one at bedtime. This won't help a damn thing but it will make taking a dump more colorful. It's the little things in life.

    ~~~~~ asked about the "chainsaw brigade". This is a local phenom and sporting event. Anytime there is any chance of a tree going down - they all show up with saws. It is a "Look at mine - it's bigger" thing and enjoyed by everyone. At these events/disasters women also play a big role by sitting on the tailgate sharpening the chains. It's a family thing. Refreshments are usually served.
    To the Texas American - Maybe it's time to call "the Maury show" because it seems that the Legend is denying Paternity.
    CarrotHead, I watch the deer in the evening - and they are usually gone by the time I get up which is usually at the crack of 9am.
    Wanna go swimming little girl?
    Yesterday during the Busch race (or whatever it's called) I made 30 Sleazies and everyone of them is slightly different. I also snelled a bunch of hooks, and a dozen "Hair rigs". Today's race will be rebuilding both carburetors for the toon. The parts are soaking in the Chem Clean as we speak. WOO HOO.
    Attachment 173786The bid on one of the Wookie's kidneys is up to $21.43. Better jump in before Mitt Romney does a hostile takeover and sells him off for parts.
    Mac. the knife. Did you cut yourself on that thing yet? Most everyone else has.
    I need coffee. Later.
    Nope. But I'm not bragging, cause it could happen at any moment !
    PS, gave a little thought about shaving with it and then it occurred to me that I would have to look at myself in the mirror fer a spell and I let that thought pass on by. KWIM
    What size hairs do you use on those rigs?? What do you use for stops? I done beeen up 6 hrs. by 9.00 sharp.
    Memory: which brung to mind I have used cajun red, but, but it's been so long I forgot.
    Got afew too many reels n can't tell U fer sure what's on each a um, but, the panfish reels all got Vicious on um now a days; it be made in the USA if U care.
    The channel cat reels all got berkley 20lb. big cat on um fer now, not made in the USA if'n U care.
    Have not tried the suffix 832 , if some body wants to buy me sum??
    Got some Tuff line on somewhere , it's made in the USA if'n U care.
    Got some fireline on some wallyeye reels somewhere, that stuff too stiff to comb.
    Most ever line they make now a days is way better than cotton, but ,but not all are better than dacron.
    Y eye even used braid nylon when the going got tuff. But like Snag say, most people don't know what drag is. Like I say , very much of it over time gets to be a drag.
    I use 8 or 10 lb. mono, a hook about 1 1/4" long with a 1/4" to 3/8" throat, a Snell knot with a 6" to 8" tail, tie a loop in it, and the bait is about 1 1/2" below the hook, pull the loop thru with a pick, and held in place with a piece of grass doubled over. Boillie, or a gummy worm for bait.
    Watermelon gummy bears if there is any current.
    I'm sure you have checked this site out, but I'm posting it anyway. The National Kidney Foundation. I went to the recipe section, and just look at that sounds so good! You can find more by clicking the link at the bottom, after the recipe.
    It has a wealth of information on the site, and I hope it helps you with some of your questions.
