Jaime, trying to decide that campground now. morgan is gonna take pictures and post Thursday and will post then. was really hoping dale would chip in since he knows area better than i do, but seems not to want to. maybe he thinks i'm gonna get truck and boat and trailer stuck again this yr. LOL (thanks again Dale) promise i won't.
will have a place i hope this week. you thinking of coming now Jaime?

Hi Gary,I am still undecided. I will be going to Mexico on 5/10/12. I am scheduled to work that Friday too.

well, bad for Jaime, but i think the weekend of the 12th is going to be the best for us to do this. the weekend before is gonna be when everyone from up north first gets there, so fish might be kinda short, and everyone is gonna be burnt out from driving. the 12th might be a good day for a afternoon to relax for fish fry and get together for a few hrs? still working on a spot to meet at, but i feel that is good weekend. most of ca guys will be heading home the next day, so maybe day relaxing before long drive might be nice. who knows. understand now, jeff may not make it, so that is bad news. hope no one else has to drop out.
had one person from az said soon as firm date was made, he'd try to make it, and another said maybe. those with boats just remember, that river has a tide and sand bars are wicked, expecially at night. take a shovel out with you to dig yourself off sand bars. i've named all the sand bars between imperial dam and picacho park with colorful names. (about a 30 mile stretch.) that stretch isn't as bad as up where we will be.

Think n the Palo Verda county park will be best http://www.icpds.com/?pid=2199 water is right there to fish , got a crapper, don;t think theirs showers but thats what the river is for,,, just mite have a jon boat by then we can put in the ox bow for bait fish n, just got to find one that meets my needs I'll bring a ezee-up or 2 , mite bring a tent but most likly will sleep on the bed in the boat out on the ol river or the bow,,, I'll have the deep fryer,,, the beans may be a challenge out there but will figure out that some how

time to get a vote on the weekend ,,, going with the weekend 10th to the 13th myself but any will work,,, which brings up the ?? will the group from the north still be there,, are yaall headed home on the 12th in the AM or staying that night and taking off the next morning?

dale, the park has water spigots doesn't it? bathrooms and water is what we need. i have no one coming so you can share my tent if you want. don't think i snore that loud. LOL
just talked to bert, and main bunch may be heading home on the 12th. now what? make fish fry on friday? might make that hard on guys from down this area? i can be there few days early myself. but not sure of others.

running into a slight glitch in this. the guys don't have the house on the 12th. here is question. what if we do the fish fry on on the 11th, friday, maybe instead? can people make it? or another day during week?

Well think n if thats the case lets just do it the 1st weekend of the month 3rd to 6th with the Fish Fry on the 5th, think we should be able to come up with some with enough planning, should be able to come up with something before then, I know I'll be getting out on the water here before long mite get something and freeze it, and heck if no fish their always hotdogs , chips and good friends

Hey Fellows - well I put it like this:


If anyone from our group is willing to say down there the weekend of the of the May 11th, 12th & 13th, I will be willing to stay down there to make this (the fish-fry/The Meeting of Members) work. I will be willing to camp out on the shore of the river or rent a room in a local hotel. But if my only ride back, is comimg back I guest that I would have to return with them.
But who whats to take me up on the offer to say a couple more days?
