Plus wally World is the only place that I know of that sales Berkley Big Game rods for $21.00,My favorite rod since I can't afford War rods...

Zebco catfish hunter rod Is on sale at Kmart in cookeville anyways for 39 .I just aquired 2 of them. Also Kmart just put out their new fishing products so they have alot of rods and reels on sale right now... Walmart also has rod and reel combos for 20 bucks for cats now... I would suggest the zebcos from kmart tho. What ever one you may choose CHECK IT OUT GOOD IN STORE... I noticed some had no reel handles on them and one of them wouldnt go together, If it 2 piece rod put it together in store. Also let some line out and try to reel back Before you buy it. The walmart ones i noticed some were warped so didnt reel correct. They are good cheap rod combos but just take time and get a good one.. As said before Zebco would be your best bet and they are Really nice looking rods, also Kmart has Ready to fish catfish combos now comes with box ,,weights ,hooks and bobber,for 35 .00 pretty nice looking kit/

All the combos have their good points and bad points so check out what you get think about what you can afford and how often you will use it and how long you want to use it before you replace it if you can a little more money now and less spent in the future just a thought I understand the budgt thing

You probably can't afford a war rod because there very few good jobs because of company's like Walmart that only sell stuff made over sea's ! Go the web site walmartians and look what your shopping with . I have 2 within 5 miles and it's entertainment just to look at some of the people shopping there.
