Zebco catfish fighter vs. Ugly Stick medium

How stiff are the Zebco catfish fighter rods compared to a medium Ugly Stick? I have a 6'6" and a 9' ugly stick and have barely used them because I hate how they feel. I've never come close to challenging these rods but lobbing heavy baits and sinkers with them feels loosey goosey. The 9' is equipped with a large okuma spinning reel and the 6'6" currently has my abu 6501, which is what I'm rod shopping for. I got the abu for longer casting and heavier baits but I think the ugly stick is making it tough on me.

The Zebco's come in 3 lengths, up to 9 Foot...

They are pretty stiff rods..

Just got my Catfish Fighter Rods in today ( 7'-8' ). I usually stay away from 2 piece rods but after watching the video these Rods look pretty tough. Cant wait to try them out
