Which round reel you wanting information on. They have made a few different round reels in the past few years, some they discontinued.

I have had a few Okuma's, actually had them as a sponsor for a few years.
Never had any issues with them, still keep in touch occasionally.
The one reel I liked, they did discontinue.

I bought a Okuma 300l about eight years ago. Hooked into some massive fish one night and sheared the gears or something? IDK. But I took it back and had to replace it with the same thing. The clicker is not load. I havent really used it, since that awful night.

The loudest clickers Ive ever heard were probably Penns. I'm not no reel expert and I havent been around for to long. but i now my penns are louder then my omoto and my okuma. Friends of mine have ming yangs. I have never owned one but I know the casting is way better then penns and the clicker is not far off.

If you can handle it, the loudest clicker I have ever heard.
So loud, the first few nights I used one, I was concerned that the sound was traveling down the braid alarming Flatheads.
Proved to be an unfounded concern.
