1st Annual Great River Golden Reel Fishing Rodeo is scheduled for August 11th in Burlington, Iowa. This one-day "Mixed Bag" tournament will award an estimated $10,000 in cash & prizes in several categories including Top Boat, Biggest Catfish, Biggest Bass, Most Pounds Bluegill, and Most Pounds Crappie. There will also be awards for Lady & Junior Angler, a Grand Slam prize for the boat that is able to place (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) a fish in all four major categories, and a Toilet Bowl prize for the boat that comes in dead last! Tournament will conclude with a fish fry, live entertainment and awards ceremony. A tournament website will be up & running within next 30-days.
