resignation from the johnson county catfis club

To all jccc members;
I Donald L Belcher do hereby resign my position on the E-Board at the jccc immediately ! The reason for this move is because some JCCC members called the fish and game and reported our president- Tom Cagle for fishing a tournament while he has a commercial fishing license. The fish and game has determined that since he has a commercial license he may no longer sport fish at any time that he has commercial lines in the water. Since he supports his family on his commercial fishing, he has resigned from being president of the johnson county catfish club and has quit the jccc. This makes open the position of president and one position on the E-board immediately!
My personal reason for quitting the E-board and the jccc is that I believe this is a bunch of low life back stabbing and infighting and as a retired and mellow fellow I do not have to associate with the likes of said low life. I am simply going to enjoy my sport fishing with friends here in Johnson county.
As to the members who had a hand in the backstabbing, I HOPE YOUR F#$%$NG BOATS SINK.

further proving my thoughts that money will ruin catfishing as it has deer hunting and bass fishing. i dont /wont fish tourneys or get involved with big money organazations while im fishing. sorry to hear some folks have to spoil anothers life cause they are idiots.

I dont think anyone called anyone.....While most the teams were done gone the rest of us had to load our boats after the last tourney with 2 game-wardens assisting everyone 1st thing they did was check our live well to see if we had fish after the tourney.....then our ice-chest for fillets / then our liscense then the whole nine yards....they spent a good 30min on our a$$ / They checked other boats also / They were looking for violations / It was an ambush / If the game warden was on your a$$ and you were in the wrong ( WHICH I DONT KNOW) Then why blame other members? It could have been regulars in the park or in the area that fish fom the bank / A lot of people from around there talk about all the lines and nets & jugs taking fish on a daily basis on that stretch of the river . People you see there every day....

could very well be the case too.

here at the clinton lake in il on certain random weekends the wardens camp there truck in the trees at various ramps to ambush boaters unloading to leave. they target large boats full of skiers packing coolers doing dui checks. when they go by me and see poles and gear they just ask how i did. never hastle me. if they were scoping out the tourny fisherman all they had to do was check his liscense and see that commercial lisc. pow.

either way thats why i stay away. i love chatting and sharing opinions here and the gatherings, tackle meets, ect but as far as these money deals, i swing away.

like in deer hunting here. every time theres a big deer shot doesnt matter whom takes it "hes a poacher" or poached it! never fails. and after a while it will be the same with tournys. people stringering fish is how they win all the time ect.... money is the root of the evil deeds. ide rather give richard 223reload $80 to build me a custom fillet knife i could do fine without, than spend it on an entry fee. sponser fights & arguments. ive seen many threads here lately about sponser trouble and arguments about payoffs ect... screw that noise. not for me.

all the money i blow or spend catfishing is on boats gear and breading! i dont need folks accusing me of hiding fish or netting whatever. ide be rolling in the grass with to many of em. only time i roll around while im fishing is after one breaks off.
