Got a sore throat today, so sausage gumbo is on the menu tonight. Lots of veggies and cayenne to make it feel better!

And I thought I was the only one that liked hot and spicy for a sore throat lol. Serious I eat jalapenos when I get a sore throat seems to get rid of it fast.
Tonite is good ole hamburgers on a bun with cheese pickles etc maybe some french frys depends on how energetic I am.

Really? You can grill salmon on thattharcontraption?

Menu for the week: (to be followed per contrary female moods)
MON - polska with okra & toms, corn on cob
TUES - chicken & gravy over egg noodles, brussels sprouts (and candied sweet taters if I would've made 'em)
WED - grilled Indian pork kabobs, fruit salad
THURS - sweet carrots, cheesy cauliflower, green peas and corn on the cob (REALLY good, from Bi-Lo)
FRI - Cajun 15-bean soup w/homemade sausage, cornbread
SAT - honey mustard chicken w/rice, green salad
    SUN - EAT OUT

I'm open for dates, since the one I'm cookin' for doesn't appreciate it. :)
