Thanks for the invite, Fu. I'll see if we can strap a jet to the truck to make the run down. LOL!

Supper tonight: breakfast. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, and possibly hashbrowns.

Dinner will be served promptly at 7 O'clock.

Attire will be Fishing Casual. Shoes and shaving optional.

Full beards must be neatly combed and all critters will be left outside with the exception of Old Blue who pays the mortgage on this place.

Silverware and SOLO cups will be provided.

    Belching is allowed.

Appetizer will be fresh fruit with Ritz Crackers.

Main course will be grilled catfish seasoned with a blend of spices known only to Chef Fishsmoke. It is a time tested and honored family recipe that has been in Fishsmoke's family ever since Great Grandpappy Fishsmoke passed out in the Smokehouse and ended up being cured as good as any ham.

The catfish will be accompanied by grilled asparagus freshly picked in the dark of night from the neighbors garden and sweet peas. Bring your own shooting straws.

Dessert will consist of dirt cake and Canadian wigglers.

At the meals completion the women folk will retire to the parlor to peruse the newest Bass Pro catalog, the menfolk will get rid of the paper plates and plastic silverware and convene in the basement where continuous testing of the SOLO cups and accompanied arm exercise will occur throughout the night. Much discussion will be devoted to fishing trips past and fishing trips future. In general, the fish being discussed will have been accurately weighed and measured providing a certain veracity to Cousin's Homer's claim of a 1000 lb channel cat he caught from Web pond. (He suspects it was a hybrid.A cross between the Channel Cat and a Tuna, scientifically known as a Chauna.
