Hit up the skuke for my 2nd time ever fishing for flatties, as usual with any fishing trip, it snowed as I left my house, when I set up shop, it was the usual cold wind and rain on and off, replaced by bugs, and then more wind and rain. Ran into Tan and I think Romo riverside, after some diehard fishing I ended up with a new species and PB at 21.10lbs, another much smaller juvenile was landed, before the girlfriend couldn't feel her toes
Congrats! If you sit and wait long enough something will bite.
Yeah but It makes the boat swing all over the place.. Hopefully the wind will die down..
I'm heading out tonight with my old man. Gettin a late start might not get out on the water till 10pm. But I got a whole menu for the flats tonight. Suckers, bullheads, bluegills, and white bass. So I'm hopin to at least get on something 15lbs or bigger.
