Tan I really hope you get a 40lber this year. Id love to catch a 40lber but im just shooting for a new pb so i'd take a 35lb anyday

im searchin for it, i was less than 2lbs away, that same fish will be a 40 this year. the boat is getting retrofitted for salt and fresh water fishing.

Much like Rebelman, I would like to break my PB (31.5lbs) which shouldnt be hard at all. I believe spring will be well to me, I am done college first week of May. and have off for a full week in April which I already took off of work for.

I switched to all conventional reels, Shimano 400b, Shimano 400BSV, & Abu Garcia Pro Rocket "Black Cat" reel, I think I am much better prepared then last season. Lately I've been trying my new setups on carp and have successful. Hooked into a 15 pound carp with the Shimano BSV, which handled it like nothing!

Who has Cabin Fever?

I got cabin fever but i'm actually happy I have some down time so I can work 7 days a week to collect money for rods,reels,bait tanks, hooks, and all the other fun stuff(bills).

I got a custom flathead rod being made right now and it's almost half way done.(flamekeeper rods)

I will be getting this sweet knife,(this will be my protection knife for them solo nights on the river)

Going down cabelas tonight for 4-5 ugly stick lite tigers and getting 4 war rods soon.

Then I gotta get reels, bait tanks and more hooks and im done! lol it's like a madman's christmas list that wont end

Do you have a chain to go with that knife?  We are not in the 1950's and need something that packs a punch.
