gonna be a gathering of the clan,ever body welcome,at ouachita lake in the 27 fishing village camp grounds.this is going to be a camp and fish not planing a meal unless some body else wants to.if we happen to have a good fishing week end we could possibly have a fish fry one day be up to yall.
the 27 camp ground is a first come camp ground cant reserve sites so get here early.theres electric,water,and restrooms but no baths that i could find.june water should be warm enough to bathe in lake.any questions ill try to answer.ill post directions and phone numbers as we get a little closer.there are cabins available for them that are interested.cabins have ever thing but food.

Pits are there site with sewer connections on them?

Top, I will find out for you. I was down there this weekend, but did not pay it any mind. We stayed in the cabins. They are very nice with Handicap accessible. The cabin we stayed in had 2 full beds, Fold out Sleeper Sofa, TV, Sattellite, Shower, toilet, Dinning table. There are two units side by side at each cabin. Some of them have Kitcheneets. With a huge porch, with picnic table, chairs and a long wheelchair ramp. You can dock your boat at the bank and tie here off!

Top. You might be more comfortable in one of the cabins. They have cold Air and big porches to sit and visit. Might be just as cheap by the time you burn gas pulling a camper. The cabins without a kitchenette has two full size beds and a sleeper sofa. We stayed in one this past Saturday nite( sorry Johnny, i was gonna call you but we only stayed overnight). The total cost was $69.73 for the night.

Also when you are at the campgrounds, you are a total of 7.0 miles from Mt. Ida, in case you need anything!

TOPS - I just got off the phone with the village. They do not have sewer at each site, only a dump station in the campgrounds.

We are going to try and get to the Arkansas gathering this summer. It has been a long time since attended a gathering or been on line. I will be looking up where it will be held after I'm finished here.

Just to bring you all up to date,My daughter Paulinia just have to get a new Mini-van her husban Bought her an Esclade [used 2002 in very good shape ], the only way for her to get the van is for her mom and I to take over the notes to the Esclade[gas gluzzler] and to trade in our car as a down payment,well I did not wont to do this,she gave me her camper if I would take over the Payments,I thought this would be a good deal so we did it. the camper is a Fema type without a holding tank for the sewer,that is why all the guestions. still thinking about coming if I can get the wife to go. Have to rent a cabin.
