I know what you mean Skiz, my wife and I just started fishing for flats in sept of last year. We were fishing and caught a few and then I caught an 18 lber and this guy and his kid motors over to our boat and proceeds to read me my rights as a fisherman to take them to the bank. I got mad and released it right in front of him and didn't get pics. (Not big by some but my best so far) He cursed me out in front of his young son and my wife. I sais son we are in our mid 50's and this is what we like to do, but if you like we can motor over to the shore and you can get a lesson in respect. He said lets go, so I ask him if his young son could drive cause he wouldn't be able to. He called me crazy and down the river he went. I just laughed and my wife said would you really go. I said just calling his bluff. So yes there is still a lot of people who want these majestic fish dead!

Son and I hit the Susky this afternoon for a few hours. One small channel. Tried 5 -6 different spots. Everything was pretty dead. Got chased off the river by the cold at dusk. Nice afternoon though.
