I made my annual New Years Day fishing trip. I always go, some years its the river, some years it's ice fishing. No ice yet so it was off to the river! Hit the Allegheny from a bit past noon till 2:40 PM with Bailey. The midday bite was slow. Caught 4 Walleye. Largest was a tad under 15". Always nice to get on the new year score board on day 1! Few pics attached!

Yes indeed! I was using 3 rods! Just because, lol! The 3 rod thing I'm most happy about for fishing from my boat for Cats but it was cool from shore today also!

Scott, you better get a patent on that new triple rod holder before someone steals your idea!

Hit the Allegheny today from 4 PM till 5:30 PM. It was darn cold out there! 29* upon arrival and 27* when I left. Ice forming in the rod guides! Done ok catching 6 Walleye the largest at 15.5". They were all in the 14" to 15.5" range. It was a blizzard for awhile, my fingers were froze!

LMAO! If it was he'd have broken the state record by about 9 pounds. Blue cat from the Potomac.
