Hit up the Mon in Southside yesterday for about an hour. Little bit stained, but not too bad. No action tho. Lost some lures.

Gonna head down Riverfront Park in Elizabeth this afternoon and see if I can get onto a few walleyes, saugers, or white bass with the lipless crank.

No Channel activity I haven't heard yet but it just may because they are not getting numbers. I don't mind giving spots or bait, it's a big river and you still have to be able to get them hooked and landed.

hey thanks alot. that funny thats excatly where i was planning on going today haha. so ill have a report on it tonight. next week report on the catfish activity

I have been fishing the Al for cats this last week, nothing landed yet but they are def moving, getting runs. Channels I'm sure, starting to fish flatheads this upcoming week. There were alot of small fish breaking the surface last nite, prob eating insects. Its a good sign for sure. Good luck getting out

if you get a chance try the lock wall at rices landing--I do used to do fairly well around this time for sauger and walleye--never kept them but had fun catching them--but haven't got out this early in years. As soon as the water temp gets to 50 degrees and above, I'll be headin for the lock wall.
