Neuse River 2012!!!

landed a flatty around 20-25 pounds last night in raleigh 10 minutes into fishing. Only 1 more around 5 pounds was caught the rest of the night.

Im going to try my luck out there tonight. The last few times I have been has either been nothing but gars or nothing at all. Hoping for a different result tonight

fished raleigh neuse near poole rd last night for a few hours. current was strong and water was up. was expecting more cloud cover with predictions of rain, but it was really bright out. no good flathead runs. only a 3.5' gar. anybody have better luck?

I didnt fish the river last night but I took the boat out to falls to try some deep water for some cats but had no luck had a storm come in and the rain came and the lightening stay out there for a little then ran to the bridge to fish for some crappie go two nice ones and a few small ones.

Tried out at milburnie tonight. Only a few small hits on our rods. Managed to get tangled in old line several time. I think every year I go out there at the beginning of the season, and then stop because of all the old line to get tangled on.

jr holland won with 52lb ???? 3 fish , jonny penny 2nd , lee campbell 3rd very hard night of fishin tried everything and shallow and deep nothin much worked but at least i was on the water

Fished last saturday night with kingfish in the smithfield area. The storms were no joke. We caught 21 fish. The biggest was a 42.87lb blue. We also had a 22.22lb blue. Quiet a few in the teens and some 6-10lbers. I'll try and get some pictures in here soon.
