Illinois gathering, Catstock

I'll be there if I can. Will try for the same site I had last year. However, any site is a good one in that area. I'll be camping. Don't know if I can talk the Mrs. into coming, if not, I'll bring one of my neighbors.

Was just looking at some photos of previous Catstocks and remembering how much fun they were and how many people showed up. Looking forward to seeing this gathering get back to the way it was in the past. Always had a great bunch of folks attending.

As always, I'll be there. Someone has to show up to show these guys what a catfish looks like. And Jeremy, I have maps of that lake that show the channel. There's a spot from the bank right there that the channel curves around right against the bank. You stand a much better chance of catching fish from the bank there if you can get out in the channel. And I'll even float you some real bait. Bring your truck this time. I swear, you looked like the grinch stealing christmas with all that stuff packed on top of your van. LOL.

ya looked worse before my crap flew off the top and got lost lol. looks like feb 28th is the day the reservations open for that date. be shooting for 8 i think it was. far right on the point. veets had far left on the point last season.
dont know if ill have the boat this year or not. would like to but just have to see when the time comes.

i hear ya. the fist two years i went 04-05 were great as far as many people. and ohio and arkansas both had 30+. hope this year we can stir up a boat load again. sure is a good time. and i had broked leaf springs and lost luggage and still enjoy them. lost my boat keys at arkansas oh man ive had the luck.

ya thought my luck was changing after i actually caught a catfish out of that ocean in 2009 i think it was lol. but this past year bluegill and drum but i caught those bluegills with my young ens so it was cool. the lil one ate those gills too and liked them. was the first fish he ate. them moments are what makes them great stuff. he said veets toilet tent looked like dot candy. guess there is some resemblence though.

Hey Jeremy the only thing that the toilet tent needs is a AC set up like Pshco's tent. Then you could go in comfort.
