i had planned on going down to see Gary this week.... He opens his house to "Brothers" and shares his spots.... well some of them....But I had some family problems and etc... not that Tom, Plumbertom1 and Tim...Plainsman are not close brothers... but I could not get away.....

I know first hand what Gary has been through over the years..... You cant fish fish with this guy and not experience all that comes from this "Fisherman"......

I have been through similar crap with my cancer and arthritic body problems... ...... This ole boy (To Fish) is a tough ole Marine and.... If he is asking ....

Well than he needs our support......

Gary, I'm very sorry to hear this as I'm sure everyone on the site is or should be if they have a heart. I hope they are wrong and that it's something else not nearly so bad. Prayers and thoughts for you from my family here in Tennessee.

wait until you hit next yr. greatest yr you will will get. means nothing to no one except you and the family. five yrs and "cancer family" says you are clean of it. greatest best words you can hear. people just don't realize what the "cancer family" is. at least the one that i had.

Gary, It's so sad to hear that you're having this problem when you've fought so hard to overcome the Big C.
I can only hope for the best for you when you undergo the next procedure.
I'll keep you in my thoughts and if I get a chance to go fish I'll say your name if I hook anything.

Just saw this thread. Sorry to hear the news Gary. You made through Vietnam, you beat cancer and you will beat this as well. I wish you all the luck in the world and a speedy recovery. I look forward to drinking another beer and fishing with you again.
