catfish dynamite
Anyone ever try that Catfish Dynamite dip-bait? I've been seeing deals on on it at the local tackle shops. Thought about getting some but, if they are on sale, they might be having problems selling it. lol

Tried it many years ago and think it's a waste of money. I only use fresh cut-bait or live-bait now you cant go wrong this way. @

I second that!
Let me crank on that Sonny's a little more...Sonny's Blood dip is the monster catcher. Put that on a mussel bed and wait for a Blue, Channel, or Flathead to run off with it. :encouragement:

I used to fish with it quite frequently here in Ky. Had the most luck out of the regular blood flavored Catfish Dynamite. I have caught several cats off of it in the spring fishing log jams, and never caught anything other than a catfish off of it either. Wal-Mart in my area stopped selling it a couple of years ago so I started ordering Secret 7 and get the same results. I love to use cutbait as well, but go towards dip baits in the spring when the water starts to warm up to get some fiddlers in the freezer. It seems you can totally wear them out at times. I have caught tons of fish off of dip bait, but the fish are usually in the 3-5lb range. I hope this helps you out, and Good Luck!

Used it way bk when it first came out, catalpa worm flavor, worked fantastic on pond cats, then the next few times not a bite, I chunked ALL my commercially prepaired catfish baits away when I discovered fresh shad .
