well I'm gonna go Jimmy Johnny style tonight. I've got church tonight and I'm off tomorrow so, I'm heading out about 2 in the morning and catch the cool morning bite. I've been fish bream and catching a few good blues, but since I want have time to catch bait today, I'll swing by the shop and get a few herring...

Trey------------------are you netting your gizzards, if so are they in the creeks or in the very back of the creeks. I'm marking alot of heavy bait and thought it may be gizzards. I usually never try to net bait on Hartwell, but with gas prices I may have to start...,Thought you may throw an ol' dog a bone....lol....

I've been hammering away at the blue bite, but I believe I'm going hunting for a different girl tonight..BIG !!!! FAT!!!! And FLAT!!!!!,,,by the way these gals are beautiful in the eyes of their beholders....lol...

Oh and I'm gonna miss that ol' thread, good stuff there, but as a lot of you know, the Hartwell thread always go and go, this is about the 3-4 long thread we've had and I'm sure this one will reach the upper pages in months to come..carry on

Yall have a blessed Lords day and look to the skies sometime today......

Gotcha, 10-4 on the gizzards. Me and Brad W. has talked about the blues I've been fishing and he seems to think they may be gourged (full) of bait. I've heard of it on the big rivers and have had blue cat river guide explain it to me as far as the fish feeding to the point the bite is off, but thats when the water is rising in the rivers, such as the Cumberland. Now as far as lakes, I feel it could be the same to some extent, but I'm not sure. All I know is the fish are in here and the bait is all over the place, so I feel they are eating all day long if they want to.

I was gonna go yonight, but Ineed to stay home and save a dime for animal feed and a fishing trip or 2 next weekend...

finally got out last night to do some catfishin. anchored in 20fow first and found 3 cats, later on I pulled a drift and got 2 more. All fish came from about 20fow using herring and gills. I think the herring bite is picking up some.

4 blues, dink,5 ,10, 15. 1 flat at 5. No hogs but for not being out on the water this summer Im pleased. Pretty sure Im on their tails already so Im gonna keep at it hard if the weather lets me. Tonight is to windy.
