Ok Jr, it's up to you and I to hold the fort down. Sam and Johnny are in Texas now.
.....update on the big man...........He has already scored a big one in Texas............Triple Cheeseburger from Whatta-burger went down around 6:30pm tonight.
I told him Johnny should spring for a Waffle House stop, but they had their sights on Whatta-burger. Dang, I know the triple/large fry/large strawberry shake............. Sam will be sleeping by now after that dinner.
Jr, you fishing this weekend? I might meet you down on 13 if you are going. The little one wants to fish, but we will first watch the rain before the weekend and make a decision.

Yeah, now channel 9 is calling for 60% Saturday, but Sam's brother Garrett only says 40%.
I was thinking of taking the youngest to Beaver to chase the white bass and just stay close to home, but a river trip would be better.
I think Noah might be heading to Lowe's to start gathering up wood for an ark, if it rains Thursday like they say.
Yall are set to get 3-5 inches by Saturday.....................MUDDY RIVER.

I can't get a raise out of Sam. I have texted him twice today wanting a report. Either he has been fighting a big blue, or has his phone off.
He assured me he now has the NATIONWIDE phone plan, and not the "turn off the phone at the Texas state line" plan.
If you hear from him, let me know. He said Johnny was wanting some lil debs in the Suburban, so maybe there were out stocking up at the Hostess Day Old Store.

Yeah, he finally sent word of another "Triple Whatta-burger" going down.
He did say they caught some fish early before the Kerr-icane force winds set in. I think we got the same wind as they did. I hear Johnny let fly some shad with a 5 oz sinker and the wind took it 1/4 mile away.

Ok, now that those boys are down on "Ta-wind-koni", I can officially start my countdown to Wheeler.
Did I mention is it 11 days till leave time?
We will fish the JCCC tourny on the 17th and head out from there. Tina sure wishes we had a camper shell to put the kids in while we drive, but we'll stuff them with burgers and shakes at Russellville Whatta-burger and they will be out. I can drive all night from there.

Big man called told me one of the ok teams got there rod and reels stolen 30 mins ago while they were eating.

I would shoot someone stealing my rod and reels . too much wind today caught some small ones Wind to blow 15 to 25 tommorow rain coming there to

Shooting would be to good for them. Thieves are worse than carp, and they both suck! Hope the wind was kind to you guys Sam. It was mean around here. Rain should start things up if it doesn't put the river on a real bender. Sat may be the start for me, but Monday may be perfect. Dry and a little less wind at #9 from the Ole Banko . Anybody heard from Big Pappa?

I could just see Sam running out of Whataburger with a triple in one hand and his hand around the throat of some dude trying to steal his rod/reels. A lot of people don't know, but Sam has 4.3 speed.....................in the 10 yard dash
I bet this rain coming ruins is for a while. Hope not, but maybe the skips will be up to 13 by the time things settle down.

Just talked to the big man about an hour ago. He and Johnny were heading this way. Too much of that WIND and Rain. He said they couldn't even get on their spots. I guess that lake was a beast. I think they made a good decision and not waste time sitting there when you couldn't even get on the water.

Uh oh, I hope the worst didn't happen to our friend. I bet it did. I bet while he was out in his garage unpacking, some state official passed by and saw him...................Sam has gone back into work today!!!!! NOT!!!
Why don't you send all those big olympic sized shad up this way if you had some left
