East ramp - 2 mile bridge is officially closed . We set in stone today our deer camp, we will set up Fri. November 9th, hunt Sat-Mon morning then break camp. All of ya'll are welcome to come up and eat some creek fish the evening of the 10th or come up and camp with us. Regan hope your better by rifle season.

I don't know why, but something was conflicting with the 17th, but all tourny's are 2nd Saturday except Jan, which is the first Saturday, and Classic in May is 3rd Saturday to avoid Mother's Day.

Regan, good luck on the killing. This colder weather will have those bucks chasing, should have lots of oppurtunities in 2 weeks at camp.

Chris, those are perch and brown bass I caught this summer wade fishing the local creeks.

It looks like I can't fish Sunday, have to work 3-11 shift overtime. I have to call tomorrow because I may have to work Saturday evening to. Need the money anyway, the warwagon needs 1 new tire and the truck needs 4 before we head to Tawakini in December.

Boys, it was tough out there today. I fished a little down from where we usually fish. I took my dad and he ended up with 6.
Mostly 2-3 pound skillet heads, but we did throw back a 6 pounder.
Never drifted, but temp was still around 64 and I sure thought about it.
Fish were biting hard, but just few bites were had. If they bit, you usually caught them.
Sam, hope that radiator or whatever you were working on is fixed.

My Alabama buddy texted me he went dove hunting today. Boys, when Tina and I move down to Wheeler in 5 1/2 years, please come check my head if I ever tell you in late October that I was dove hunting with Wheeler in my backyard. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
That would be like Johnny living on Augusta National and going out on the 8th fairway to play frisbee. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
