WELL BOYS............I AM BACK. Got home around 3:00pm. Tina rides in the backseat on the eggshells/comforters all sprawled out while I do the driving, but somewhere in Southern Missouri, she sent a request for a "10-100"..........and that ended up at KFC for the lunch buffet.
I stepped on the scales and put on 6 pounds. Thanks to fried walleye every night.
But I am glad to be back and put the 14 Driftmaster Duo Pro's back on the ComboCat within an hour of getting home. It is a relief to see it as a catfish boat and not a yankee boat again.

What Sam? Sand Bass at the border? No way. With all in our convoy, I was smuggling (legally) 16 big walleye fillets and they are all tucked away in the freezer now.
I will unpack tomorrow and get back to this 80-95 degree temps...........sure will miss wearing a hoodie and jeans or the Big 8 suit all the time.

I will call you boys Friday night while yall are RC'ing.

............just scare off those water skiers, tubers and lil swimmers with that RC boat. Put some flames on the side and let it go.
Better yet, put a skunk on it and let it go towards the pontoon'ers out there taking a leisurely cruise

Had an amazing time. Will definately be recommending people go try out the jccc. Figured since it was a tournament everyone would be with holding information. We were greated with just the opposite. Everyone was eager to help out and throw in some pointers. Didn't win for sure but already got the blessing from household commander to go back next month. How did LD 13 treat you?[QUOTE=Big Sam;2510394]I had to sit down on that one Andrew....

We had a blast Friday night, always a great trip to get out with Sam and Reagan. The fish were biting great early. The first trip up in the gates took 3 seconds for the first bite, they continued to bite well until they shut the water off. Caught a couple 12 to 15 lbs and the rest were 2 to 4 lbs. caught a double one time. An rc boat with a 300 yard+ range will be going on santas list LOL!

You all must have been putting rocks around the river so you could have this tourney
because the water stopped down in my parts and I think they broke the ON switch LOL
Glad you all got a couple fish....
We got out on the water around 11am today
(Had a graveyard cleanup thingy first) and

Yeah, we had a good time last night fishing the tournament. It was nice meeting you Andrew and your wife. Hope to see you two back in the future. Sure wish the big man and Jr could have been there.
We ended up stinking it up and finished 2nd in this one. I was sure my 17 pounder would win big fish too, but 18 is bigger than 17. That was a good fish Dean. Those 2-3 pounders were biting like crazy, but just that one good fish for the showing.

I kept getting texts and calls from the RC boys. One call from Jr was hard to hear as Sam was laughing too loud at the fish going down in the background. I'll head down next time with you boys. I need to see this boat firsthand.
