Ive been following this story up closely since the news broke. Hes a major contender in the striper cup tourny in the northeast year in and year out and the whole purpose of that tourny which stretches a few states is to win big moneny and big braggin rights for big fish of mammoth proportions. I think hes holding out and seeing what offers roll in before he submits it. Either that or the fish is bogus but only time will tell and Im looking forward to what becomes of this mega fish.

Get that fish registered and own that World Record!! That's what I would do!! Man up and get it done. Who gives a crap what everybody says!! Sounds like he's a profesional stripper fisherman. Knows his chit. CONGRATS TO HIM!!

Of course alot of people don't like the attention and I can respect that!!

That striper tournament is for big money and big bragging rights.

It's kinda shady why he refuses to submit the fish fir a world record.

Why offer him a dime over a dang fish, IMO some of the eastern folk are kinda off their rocker for things like that. out west you'd get no more than 5 min of fame for any record fish.
