so much for defense showing up in tonights opener

in one of my money leagues they changed up the scoring this year and they did it right before the draft so most of us did not know the extent of it. now we all saw how many yards (403 i think) the pack put up on the saints, and the saints defense had 2 sacks, gave up 42 points, but they had a ton of return yards and a TD (which i'm not opposed to that at all). but after all that they scored roughly 6 points less than rogers did for me tonight. what a joke that is. these folks are always messing with the scoring in that league every year. if they don't change it back or at least simplify it for next year i'm done with that league. heck there are so many new scoring catagories now thw when you get on to check your team or check out the waiver wire you have to scroll over forever to see the points for your player. the players name and points you can't see at the same time as the board is all cluttered up. sorry about the rant but i had to blow off some steam.

I hate last munite scoring rule changes myself - just keep it simple - that's why I tryed to keep the scoreing rule the same
(for all of these years) in this league, unless everyone agree on making that change - "so everyone in this league is happy At All Times", because that's what you are really shooting for when you are running a league.
People can learn alot from the managers in there leagues.
(I know I have learn how to run things from the people in this one over the years & they know who they all are).

i agree Bert. sometimes simpler is better in my opinion. i've been in that other league for about 6 or 7 years and the scoring has never been the same from year to year. you and john are great managers and i'm highly impressed by both of ya.

well david that game aint over yet you still have lloyd going for ya and i still have gostkowski but i would have to say our matchup has got to be the best one of the week by far

Didn't see them kind of points coming this week and now I have to wait almost 24 hours to see if Brandon's kicker puts a nail in my coffin.lol.
