Chris Calamus is a Killer Channel Cat lake for sure.I understand that Channels will average 20 pounds. If the boat was not in the shop getting a new cover I would make the Trip to fish it. Good Luck if you go J.D.

Hey Chris!! I'll be there. Look for the 24' Sea Ark. It's my fishing partner's boat. Hoping the weather is favorable and the stinking wind doesn't blow like it did for the 2 day tournament last year. Talk about a back breaker!! lol. 30-40mph winds and huge white caps, NO! make that waves!!

You were supposed to be guarding their nests during the spawn.

We're still thinking about what were going to do....fished back to back saturday night tournaments and this would make three in a row! Money might be an issue also. It's hard not to go because the fishing can be so amazing. Plus, with a $200 entry fee the payouts would be damn good if a guy could get lucky and get into the money. Gas there and back, $200 entry, calcutta, food, bait, etc. adds up pretty quick!!! Good luck to all those that participate
