Default Need help choosing a fish finder, please

The number of fish finders out there is bewildering . I am looking for something that is $200 or less, good at night, and will give me the basic info. I will be using it exclusively on a 2000 + acre impoundment, that, at times, has some current. My boat is fiberglass and I can mount the transducer on the transom or to look through the hull. Don't know much about that either.

Help, please, this is way harder than I thought. I have look at so many on the net today that my head hurts.

For $200 you will not get much more than depth, temp, and be able to see bottom contour.
