Well since I think Gar are a great GAME fish I had to vote,Other Fishermen. The reason for this is,NO respect for someone thats anchored...This pizzes me off bad,Get anchored,Get rods out, here comes a boat like a bat outta hell,or worse, half throttle,Maybe 20 feet from you.Well there goes your anchor hold, and maybe several rods hung,I get River rage,Bad...
If the flatheads won't bite,Give me a Gar...***The River Thugz,Xtreme catfishing***FLATHEADS:REAL FISH,FOR REAL MEN!!!

For me its Longnose gar especially if Im bank fishing to where I cant move to far.I have no trouble catching them with heavy mono but they can wipe out all your live bait quick.

Gar
Gar. Here the rules take care of the rest. Boat wake, jet ski , sking in a no wake zone, untieing on the boat ramp; just get the number an call the water patrol or park ranger. They just love stupid people and if they drinking they get a BWI also. Most people on the river are very courteous and look out for and help each other cause the river can kill you with no warning. Most of the trouble is on the lakes.

I have to say other fisherman with no common sense, especially like the one I had this weekend that literally came up to where I was fishing, not even 20 feet from me, he saw I had lines out, unpacked his crap, baited up and on his first cast he crossed one of my lines. Then he put out 4 more and had the balls to ask if I had caught anything yet. This idiot was so close I could smell his aftershave, I just looks at him and asked if he normally does this to run people out of "his" little spot and he just chuckled and got quiet. Soooo I reeled in my line he had crossed, and he had the nerve to say something because i brought his line in with mine! That right there turned into a war, I went to the other side of the lake from him and flung 8oz weights around his lines for about a half hour lol. I left and came back about 3 hours later and some other old man was there, turned out he tried to run him off too!
