    Default Slurping Venturi

Ive been messing around with a Venturi Setup on my bait tank. Just trying different stuff and havent actually rigged it up yet. for now Ive been using a straw and have it pumping bubbles really good, Ive done it on both the intake and output side of the pump. The intake side really puts off the best amount of tiny bubbles. My qtn is what do you guys do to get rid of the slurping sound from the air being sucked in? Kinda aggravating to listen too.

It is louder if the pump ingests bubbles. It isn't really a venturi then but the impellar is a bubble chopper.
