I have 2003 40 hp mercury that will not idle. it will run on high idle but runs rough and dies as soon as it is brought off high idle. The motor set up for a few years so I changed the gas out and cleaned the fuel filter but it still runs rough. As far as i can tell the motor is fuel injected so what else should I check. I also am going to go get some sea foam in the morning to run thru it.
