Tasco Scope
Anyone ever mount a Tasco World Class scope on a 50 cal muzzle loader. I'm concerned about it holding zero with regular use.

Not a 50 cal, but I have 1 on a 12ga slug gun and it holds zero well. I imagine a 50 cal and 3" 12ga put about the same thumping on a scope. Not a long range scope, but for muzzleoaders and slug guns, it's pretty decent for the cost.
In dog beers, I've only had 3.

Got a Tasco silhouete shooting scope on a .308. 6-24x44. 1/8" at a 100 yards per click.
Upper end of the Tasco spectrum.
Clarity wise, not the best but I've seen worse.
Function wise, 2 liter drink bottles at 450 yards don't stand a chance.
On a bet. I put 2 rounds through the side of 1" EMT at 200 yards.
Paintballs at a 100 for fun.
Never had any problems. Holds zero all through the power range.
Really all that I could ask for except for the clarity issues.
I've got atleast 2000 rounds through that setup. Never had to touch a screw on it.
My only advice.
Single mounting base of quality like the Leoupold.
Quality rings.
Good mounting with some locktite.
I'd probably spend more money on mounting then most Tasco scopes cost.
