i'm here to Scott. Presley looked good tonight. and the bucs broke their 13 away game losing streak in inter league play. the pitching hasn't been as sharp as it was earlier in the year but they are starting to score a little more now.

I agree Brian that Presley looked good. He will be getting a lot of playing time due to Tabata going on the 15 day DL. The homerun he hit was sweet! Teke said on the post game last night that Kevin Correa became the first Pirate pitcher to hit 10 wins before the all-star break since Bob Walk back in like 1993. Game 2 of the Toronto series tonight. Let's Go Bucs!!!:>

Sweet! Bucs take 2 of 3 from Toronto winning 6-2 last night! That makes 3 interleague series in a row that we have won. Baltimore, Boston and Toronto. Go Bucs! :>

if they could start hitting more consistently then they would really be in the hunt. hopefully some of the injured starters get back soon. people are clamoring for them to trade to get a big bat in here. but in my opinion there isn't anyone out there all that better than what they have now and its going to be a steep price in what teams are going to want in return prospect wise.

The Bucs spanked Washington 10-2 to split the series 2 games each. We got Houston and the Cubs for 3 games each before the All-Star break. We are only 1.5 games out of 1st in the division. Golden opportunity to put up some wins. Wouldn't it be crazy if went into the break in 1st place!?! >:X:>

People want the Bucs to get a bat. Alverez will be back in like 2 weeks and he is supposed to be our big bat. Tabata will also be back around the same time. The only deal that would make sense as far as getting another bat would be to move Paul Maholm since he is due like $9.75 mil next year and package him like Ronnie Cedeno and perhaps a prospect and try to get Hunter Pence from Houston. Pence is batting .322 with 10 HR this season.
