Well, the diagnosis is..... gall bladder surgery. His gall bladder is not workin at all, totally quit, on top of that his stomach as the doc said "looks like ground beef covered in ulcers" one step away from bleeding ulcers. Gotta call Monday and set up a follow up visit with the surgeon to decide on a date for the surgery. Im so glad they finally made a decision. Im hoping they say in the next week or so, that would put him being off on medical leave durin the time of the gathering and we might get to stay longer.......ANYWAY... on a different note, Mom and Levoyd are at Pickwick right now camping this weekend. Says the park isnt crowded but they weren't able to get their usual favorite spot. We might slip off up there one day for a visit. I'm so ready to kick back and enjoy some down time.

Sorry to hear about Hershell, but know they will fix him up, we will pray for his speedy healing.
We sure hate to miss out on the Pickwick fun week , looks like a real good bunch of people going to be there. I guess we plan on some time there in Oct. Sure wish it would of worked out so we could of been there in Sep.

Punkin if they do it right, like they did donna's then he shouldn't be to long and it should be same day surgery. He will loose a lot of pain after that surgery. Donna went around all the time about doubled over before surgery. Now she doesn't have that problem.

Thanks for the prayers yall, ya have no idea how much we appreciate them. Wanda, sure do hate that yall wont get to be there with us, its always a good time when ya get this crew together, rain or shine. Look forward to possibly seein yall in oct tho. When ya come up, give us notice and we will make a run by to see ya a while. Willard, I will be glad to see him finally free of all this pain and misery. He has a great surgeon, its the same guy that did Mom's surgery too. He made a wonderful impression on all of us, had a great bedside manner, took the time to explain things and actually listened to her concerns, just an all around down to earth guy, plus he has a great record of successful surgeries and treatments cause I have heard many others braggin on it. We were blessed to have him in our corner doin all this. I have no doubt he will come out 110% better than he is now. Its just a relief to finally KNOW whats goin on and to know we are on the path now to correct it.....Well, I'm goin to bed now, yall have a great nite and I'll see ya later.

Well, Jim Van the friend that came down there with me last year says he enjoyed it so much last year he'd like to do it again. He's going to check to see if he can get the time off. If he can I just might be able to make this year's gathering. Would really like to. Problem is we have my son's wedding Labor Day weekend, then we have to get him moved to Columbia, MO. soon after that. We promised to babysit our youngest granddaughter the weekend before the gathering. And the wife planned a little trip with neighbors during the week after the gathering. Not sure I can manage all that but will give it a try if Jim can get the time off.

Buddy be sure to keep the beer out of site. I hear there looking for it more this year. Something about having more issues with some getting crazy and a few fights. So there going to be looking for it harder..
Same as a few years back when the person killed in the campground and I think it was tied into drinking.
