While I have the time to work this up, I am gonna post the first of the food list. If there is something you wish to bring for the main meal on that Saturday please post it. If you don't want to bring a dish but wish to contribute in another way, monetary donations are welcome to go toward items that will be needed at last minute. Just post which you choose to do and I will get it on the list.

I spent a while compiling information that may be helpful to those who are traveling out of state and are not familiar with the surrounding area. I hope this helps some of you and if you have further questions dont hesitate to ask me.

Pickwick Dam Tailwater Campground

This is a self-service campground. (800) 882-5263. Ninety-five campsites, 66 with water and electric hookups.
Restrooms with heated showers and flush toilets, dump station, picnic tables and grills, boat ramp below dam,
tailwater bank fishing, bird-watching.

Savannah, TN 38372

Near Counce, Tenn. From junction of Highway 57 and Highway 128, go 1.5 miles north on Highway 128 across dam,
then west below dam.

Punkin, my wife has been wanting to go back to Ireland, hasn't been in 3 years. She's going in September, my stepson is treating her to this trip and also going. I forgot to ask her exactly which week/weekend she's going overseas. But I need to hang around here at least some to take care of gardening/canning/animal feeding. But I might can get help from my wife's cousin on that. If I come, I will be alone with a dome tent. HOPE I MAKE IT! :>:party:

Richard, I'll make you a deal. If you come, I'll make a special effort to be there this year. Not that I don't always try, but the past couple of years it just hasn't worked out.
