well tonight was a very slow night. started around 10pm since we got off work early again. Ended up with only 3 macks and a couple of small stingrays. I also managed to pull out a scolpin. great taco meat. so i ended up keeping this guy since i havent had one in a long time. for those that dont know scolpins are poisonous. SO BE CAREFUL WHEN UNHOOKING. NEXT THING IS CLIP OFF THE UPPER FINS AND DORSAL FINS. I CLIP ALL THE FINS JUST TO BE SAFE. after catching the scolpin called it a night since i have to get up in a couple hours to make it to the SANTEE LAKE CATFISH OPENER. Until then. FISH ON MY BROTHERS.

Dont worry Keith already got 6 giant ziplock bags full and no more room in the freezer. But i will try and get some fresh ones the night before and throw them on ice so that it can be used at the river. Now on the search for a nice rod for my CL60 to go with. Maybe an Ugly stick.

went today to santee lakes for the catfish opener. caught around 48 cats and ended up with the second biggest of the day. released about 30 and gave some away and keeped 12 for myself and friends.had lots of fun and will be going back in the morning.
