    Default lost pull pin for egg sinker mold

    I lost the pull pin for my egg sinker mold. I was Planning on making sinkers for a fishing trip im taking in a few days.I found them on the internet but it wouldn't be here in time to get them made before my trip. Is there something i can use? What is the pull pin made out of? any ideas? THANKS

    Shawn - Just take a coat hanger and cut a piece to the length you need. I have done this many times. Use a pair of pliers to pull it from the mold.

    If it is a do it mold the pin was brass which you can pick up at a hardware store. Cut off a chunk of dowel or broom stick for the handle.

    You might be able to use some welding rods if you find the right diameter. Got any 6013's laying around? Just knock the flux of it. Here's some replacements from do-it if you want an original.

    I use wheel bearing grease to lub mine almost can pull out by hand!

    Pull them before they cool. They'll slide right out.

    Default Amateur stunt

    Poured me some egg sinkers for bobber fishing and poured the cavities that I did not put the pull pen in, my some-timers kicked in Lol, well I have some solid egg sinkers:O
