im sure we all are & i usely fish all winter ,but boats been down now geting it back up & running, got me a rv as well=time for camping/fishing.
went a couple times over deer season with the guys. best part about it is the food! lucky to not have burn bans through deer season, the whole panhandle has been burning recently. after some rain we will get out there again. we just do the tent thing. couple of the guys have campers and popups.

Weekend before last me and a buddy of mine hiked in to a spot on one the lakes here, 'bout a 4 mile trip on foot since you can't drive out there. Spent three days on the side of the lake, got snowed on and rained on, but I had a stash of firewood already out there relatively dry from the last time I camped so it wasn't hard to get dried out. It was great, quietest I've ever seen it out there. Place gets alot of traffic in the summer but with the weather nasty we didn't see a soul out there. Little bit of ice was still on the lake so we saw a couple of eagles. Good times. Wanna make a trip up in the mountains on the western slope of colorado this year camping and fish some of those high mountain lakes.

The first week of May is circled on the calendar. Hoping the weather cooperates and we don't get a flood this year.

I was camping last Nov. I like to froze,,, had a small tent I was trying out,,, darn thing was all screen under the rain fly,,, you could not keep heat in it.
I guess I'm just too damn old to camp when it's in the 20s,,, unless I have my truckcamper with it's furnace.
