Books?

I've asked this question before but I can't find the thread. I am wanting to get more into shooting and reloading and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on good books/reloading handbooks on these subjects?

Plus, are the reloading handbooks, such as Hornaday, brand specific(their bullets/powder, etc. only)?

Lyman reloading manual, has been a helpful book,,for me..in a couple of editions.

I've used a lot of different books, and publications..
Most of the powder, and bullet mfgr's publish a book and/or a pamphlet with loading data.
of course with their components.

Depending on what you are loading,,,rifle,pistol, or shotgun. It shouldn't be too hard coming up with technical info, procedures, and load charts.

speer sells one. i think i have an old one on my bullet shelves. i still haven't gotinto reloading yet, but i will, i will! i keep getting kicked out of the store for having a nervous breakdown every time i buy shells...

Yes! That's why I want to get into reloading as well!

The Lyman manual is one of the most complete available. If buying just one the Lyman manual would be a good choice.

Manuals by bullet companies only use their bullets , manuals by powder companies only use their powder.

Lyman makes reloading equipment and has a good selection of powders and bullets in their manual along with some other useful data such as burn rate charts for powders.
