    I am beginning to think the Hooch is it's own catfish eco-system...everything that is supposed to work doesn't, for me; everything that isn't supposed to, does...Michelle and I sat on the inside bend of a corner, in 2' 6" of water, no current, in the middle of the day and still rolled in 20+lbs of catfish:>. Saw another Hilljack out there while we were going back to the ramp, he is sitting on the main channel, right after a stream, throwing into nice structure and on a ledge; he was picking up sandwich size fish...to me and by what books, I have read, say that looked like the perfect place to get a monster cat. :<

    Hooch fish are SMARTER THAN YOUR AVERAGE FISH.lol
    They think outside the box.All fish go shallow to feed,thats where the food is.IMO

    lol yall got that right! darn outlaw fish breaking all the rules of the river. i think they read all the same things we do and say "yall watch this" and go the other way.

    For me the best I'll be able to do this weekend is catch bait fish,Gonna try to get a tank full of titty bream,cause come hell or high water,next weekend I'll be sitting in the "HOLE":1:1:1.
