I am getting ready to have to replace the carpet on the floor of my pontoon boat. The boat is approximately 8’X32’. The carpet that is on the boat is starting to come up and it appears that it never was glued down anywhere when it was installed. Would it be better to replace it with marine type carpet or use one of the flooring paints, like the Rhino Liner, except the ones made for boats. I want something that will last a long time and not have to spend a lot of money either. Just thought that I would try to get some input before we started to fix it. I’ve never saw or talked to anyone that has used the paint instead of carpet and was just wondering how it worked and if it was worth looking into. Thanks for any help.
