    Default New Not Stinky Bait

I wanted to make a bait loaded up with amino acids and proteins after reading that catfish will aggresively seek these amino acids out when they detect them because they are essintial to catfish for health, growth, and breeding. I found one of those amino acid/protein health powders from the vitamin store that was loaded with the amino acids thats cats need. I mixed some up in a plain old dough bait with a little anise and crayfish oil. I gave it to my step-son to try and he said It worked good! Caught several eater size channels and 2 carp.. Best of all it doesn't stink. I think because of how essential these amino acids are, it may get them to bite when they aren't hitting that well because it would be hard for them to pass up a massive dose of what keeps them healthy. More tests are needed to prove the theory, but I'll keep updating. Oh yea, I got the cherry flavor health powder and it gave the bait a nice red color.
In dog beers, I've only had 3.

I have heard that before but there is not enough info. Hey apply for a grant and fish for science. LOL. The Omega-3 is a fish oil based pill to help our hearts, guys have put these in gills and said they are having good success. I am not sure about the price per bottle but I think bait would be cheaper. If you want want the best receipe for oil extracton, contact Don (playin4funami) he had the best explanation I have ever seen on this stuff, the only problem is I cannot do this in a residential setting. Read it and you will see why.

    Default Great ideas!

I have a good friend who does a lot of carp competitions and he makes a lot of dough balls (boilies) with fruit flavors, fish meal, amino acids, capsicum (from hot peppers), and has problems with cats beating the carp to his bait. His bait smells good and it does not get all over the boat, rod, etc.
