Made some dough bait

i made some new dough bait, just wondering what yall think of it.

flour
cornmeal
peanut butter
vanilla extract
water


i heated up the water, PB, and vanilla up on the stove till if got liquidy, then mixed in the flour and cornmeal till it got to a thick dough. i probably am going to add cotton balls to make it hold better. But so far tested it in the water and it held up nicely. havent fishing with it yet but i hope it works! :)

Sounds like a good bait to me. Back when I was making dough bait I always put cotton in it. I think you're the first person on this site that I've heard of adding cotton fibers beside myself. Let us know how your bait works out and thanks for this thread.

Is there a reason you never added some type of cheese to your mix? I would think it would be necessary.

Maybe add some cheese or blood of some type.

I wouldnt think it would need cheese. the peanut butter and vanilla gives off a big scent.
