Very bright, tied a few knots with it and they held up great and the line does not feel stiff as other lines do. I would compare the 80lb Invicta to 50lb Big game line in feel. I will tell you this I did a quick test of it tonight. I tied a two foot or so piece to my hitch on my truck. I then took some pliers and grabbed the line and pulled as hard as I could it did not break. I then wrapped the line around the pliers and did the same again still held strong. I then took the line in the middle with the pliers and grabbed the line and pulled I let up after a few seconds did this several times. The jaws of the pliers nicked the line really well. I then tied the loose end to a piece of metal rod. I then started pulling as hard as I could on the line. The line held up even with the line nicked up so bad from the jaws of the pliers. Nothing to worry about with Invicta line when fishing snags and rocks it will hold up.

Biased? NAH. Cajun Red has been the mono of choice here in my neck of the woods, BUT.....I HAVE heard Invicta BRAID can't be told from Power Pro. Does Power Pro make mono? LOL.

In all seriousness, due to recommendations/reports from some trusted USCA members, I'm gonna buy some Invicta line (and give it as gifts).

"Hey, Billyjoejimbob, did you try that Invicta line? What? You're goin' to next week? Well, ya better get a move on. I got better people to send it to, people who actually FISH."
We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

I use ande monster yellow in 30lb and berkley big cat in 40lb, and 50lb big game for leaders. That said, when I go through the big spool of ande, I will give invicta a try and see how I like it.
