(It was on the news a while ago after gun control thing was going on.)
There is no gun registration in PA. It is a sales database. Open carry is a legal constitutional right in PA. You only need a license to carry firearms(LCTF) to carry in a vehicle. You don't need to be a cop to carry a gun on your belt openly in PA. Many people exercise these rights. The liberal media has people so brainwashed, nobody even knows what there rights are. People constantly ask opencarriers if they are cops and why they are carrying a gun. There are 3 kinds of people in the world. The sheep, the sheepdog, and the big bad wolf. Many confuse the sheepdog with the wolf because they both have fangs. The sheep are those who walk around waiting unsuspectingly for the wolf to take a bite out of them. The sheepdog carries to protect themselves and there family from the wolf.

thats why .... open carry peeps are attention hounds- "look at me I'm Important" LOL, probably most are cop wannabes- know the type? They own crown vics with only an AM radio in it, but they stick 5 antennae's on it... 'round here we call 'em "littledicks."

unless you're in the boat, on a ramp, in the woods, etc. cover it up Barney.... before somebody takes it away from ya and knocks you in your head with it....

    Default Do You Pack?

The First Time I Fished At Night By Myself, I Was In My Early 20's. I Love Flathead Fishing, And Fishing At Night Is Just The Cost Of Doing Buisness. I Never Thought Of Taking a Gun, I'm 6'1, Over 200lbs. And Have Always Been Able To Take Care Of Myself. I Fish The Most Southeastern Part Of California, Down By The Mexican Border. One Day, Right Before Dusk As I Was Going From One Spot To Another, I Noticed A Mexican Guy Waving His Hands And Trying To Get Me To Stop. I Began To Slow Down, It Was Then That I Noticed He Had One Hand Behind His Back Now. As I Got To Within 25 Feet Or So From Him, I Floored It, As I Passed By Him He Raised A Pistol, I Kept Waiting For A Shot To Come Through The Truck, But It Never Did. The Kicker Was That About 50 Feet From Him In The Bushes Were Another 4 Or 5 People. I Am Convinced That If I Had Stopped I Would Have Lost My Truck, Or Worse. To Each His Own, But I Know What Time It Is. Do I Pack?.......I Do Now!!!

I carry the 18" shotgun when on the river but if I'm in a public area I just carry a can of hornet spray. It wont kill them but they'll wish it did.

It's a part of the "doomsday" box. I've got a watertight box that also carries flares-tools-matches -lighters-extra clip-extra ammo-MRE'S . Wintertime- I have a survival blanket. Most items are individually packaged in their own waterproof packages. Been boarded by the Coast Guard -Parish Water Patrol-La Dept of Wildlife and Fisheries. With all boarding agencies ,there was absolutely no problem IF declared BEFORE boarding. Only one instance was the box ever checked .

I don't but I'm a lake bank fisherman so the "threat" isn't really there. Maybe a water moccasin here or there. .22'n some frogs would be fun though. If I was to go out in a boat on the river I think I would want to be prepared(the boyscout in me) though. Also I don't carry one any other time (well when out hunting I do) so who knows. Plus I think it gives false hope to most who think they have the balls to shoot someone but don't or even the timing in a situation that would call for it.
