My personal best channel is 23lb caught at Yates Center lake in Kansas. Caught it on a perch. By far the best night of fishing so far!
I haven't been able to break 10lbs. I'm sure I'm stuck around 8lbs or so. But they don't seem to get too big here in NC.

My pb is 24#, have caught several over 20. These are my boys with their pb's. Bulldog with a 13#, Spook with a 20#, and Tiger with a 9 and a..... we'll just call it 10#.
caught one that tipped the scales at 16.3lbs. It was out of a stocked pond that hadn't been fished in years. Caught several out of it that broke the 10lb mark. Luckily for the next guy they are still there as i put them back.
My biggest channel cat so far is 5 lbs. caught on a nightcrawler.

hey everyone just got my pb channel cat this last weekend didnt have a scale but we think right between 18-20lbs im up in south dakota and not to many people fishing up here for cats walleyes are king here so makes me think that there are even bigger fish out there the same night i caught my pb we caught 3 fish all in the 15-20lb range and one around 12-15 here are some pics kinda dark we where fishing from 11pm till 7am using large cut creek chubs and 7/0 gamma hooks and my abu cardinal 702lx handle the fish amazingly the first fish there is the smallest one of the outting between 12-15 the rest are my pb
