Cut the lines. This crap has got to stop here in Ohio..... Way to many big river fish thrown into small pay ponds illegally. There should be an ODNR officer that authorizes and inspects all fish that are put into paylakes to make sure that they are not river fish being sold illegally (i.e. they must have appropriate paperwork from a fish farm or out of state source records). I'm not sure why the ODNR doesn't conduct a sort of big sting on some of these questionable paylakes. I'm sure it would bring a great deal of revenue for our wildlife programs.

Default i am not sure about ohio

but in florida all you need to sell fish period liver or dead is a commercial fishing liscence and in florida it allows you to sell to who ever live or dead ... feeding pay lakes with monster cats is sad and falls in there with exploiting trophy cats witch pay lakes often DO so eh what can ya do ? just not support the pay lakes or there ways.. but by the same token the trophy cats are catch n release only the only good thing about em .. i guess

The majority of these big cats in these paylakes are starving to death because they don't have a sufficient amount of forage. Have you ever seen a flathead from a small private pond after it's eaten everything in there? The only thing you see is a head and a very, very skinny body. The majority of these paylakes do NOT take proper care of their fish. River fish belong in the River.

There is nothing LEGAL that goes into or out of any PAY LAKE in OHIO. Its all a semi legal Shell Game. Can YOU PROVE I BOUGHT IT FROM AN ILLEGAL SOURCE? NO
Great Mr DNR guy, go the fuk home . LOL LOL LOL LOL

Stand up and be counted. If you see poaching call the TIP line. Take photos, follow these A-Holes around and document their illegal transactions.

Send them all to Retired to fish. A member here and an advcate.
Are you truly that stupid. A Blanket comment like that proves you dont have a damn clue what you are talking about. I can attest to 1 lake that i fish that has receipts for every fish he has stocked. Also none of them have ever came from and Ohio waterway.

It is comments like this founded on opinions and incorrect facts that affect others impressions on what Travis is truly trying to accomplish.

I am sure there are legitimate fisheries out there I am also aware that there are several that "cook the books" so to speak paper work doctored etc. However I can see no sense of accomplishment from catching A giant out of a lake that is stocked full of flats and blues No skill involved any moron can catch a fish in one of those lakes fishing is a sport not a game.

no more comments from me on this matter "backing away slowly n watchin fer ninji chops a flyin"

and to all the people against pay lakes couldn't we load up a big green tupper ware container and stick it in the trunk or our car or 2-3 if you have a hooptie {big old car lota trunk space] simply run a bubble box or 12 volt airator adgatator some thing to provide them with oxeygen and flop all the big ones we catch in there and return them to the rivers ? or even one at a time if there really big . if they go low we just gota figure out a way to get lower i guess .... just an idea for you guys that hate pay lakes and feel helpless about the situation . "set our monsters free"
