How does the scale used make the fish look any better? The camera angle has nothing to do with it. My 8 yr old daught saw that pic and asked why it was so skinny.

Well it appears that you know Chris Grebe. So no matter what me and you disagree about make sure the you understand one thing I have nothing to do with that little wannabe or his boyfriends that fish that said lake in Camden. That punk is banned from numerous lakes in ohio and even to make himself feel important around his boyfriends tries to use his social media sites to Verbally attack dead relatives, 13 yr old girls, etc.
We can argue the paylake/river situation all day long but do not ever confuse me with that little B#$%^

Well since you seem to be the only person on this site with any knowledge.....even though 99% of this discussion is common sense. There is a difference....the depth. It still does not mean a POND that size can handle handle the amount of fish being stocked.
You still offer no numbers of how many fish are stocked and why it takes so many in these ponds.
The only thing failing in this thread is your reasoning for these ponds

In the catfishing community you have a few types of catfisherman!
1. The real catfisherman that actually go out find and catch catfish on there own and try to protect the future of the fishery.
2. The keyboard fisherman that have caught a few fish but enjoy talking the game of fishing but dont put much effort into it.
3. The lurker that just gets on these sites to find out spots and info but not willing to help or better the future of fishing.
4. Then the absolute bottom of the list you have the paylake fisherman, The guy that thinks it is skillful to catch half dead fish out of a bathtub. The worst part of it, they dont understand the effects it has on fishing in our public waters. I know of and have heard of people limb lining big flatheads out of the Muskingum and bragging of selling them to paylakes all around ohio. Some might be legit i know, but the majority are crooked. When you get that type of money rolling in they are always looking for bigger fish to advertise and get them by any means they can. I feel sorry most for my children and the children of my true catfishing brothers that want to pass the thrill and excitment to them. I have already in my life have seen the negative effects that jugs, lines and the illegal selling of paylakes have caused in my local waterways! One day when all them paylake fish are dead and the rivers and lakes are raped of trophy fish, what then?

soon the James River will be open to commercial fishing for Blues. The dnr in virginia has considered Blue catfish as invasive and dangerous to the ecosystem. New source for fish .

So what part of "The commercial fisherman net them from the same waters we catch them in" is difficult for you to understand?
Notice I never made any personal attacks- but if Paul want to push this into the HI, I'll be more than happy to open a can of keyboard whip-ass on ya!

It has been real fun disagreeing with you all today
But, I want to confess something.
I agree with alot of what you have said just not all. I spoke to travis about some plans that I started rolling a week or 2 ago.
I am on a mission to help drive business away from these paylakes that buy fish from poachers and kill of majority of their fish due to excessive treating of the lakes and poisoning ther fish.
I have contacted a couple of Fish Biologists that strongly work with catfish as well as aquaculture experts. The goal is to create an Organization that looks to establish a set of best practices and Standards for Paylakes to adbide by.
As we know you will have many that will not abide by these best practices that is where the members of the organization will boycott and by word of mouth encourage others no to frequent the Lakes that are not up to standards.
All lakes will be insopected and the organization will be ran by a board that will include people from different sides of the industry. I am even willing to have a Riverfisherman such as anyone of you on the board. It is not going to be some type of toy organization. I have already sent some initial feelers to DNR offices in KY IN WV OH SC.
I am looking for Support from DNR and will work with them to help put any lawbreaking lakes OUT OF BUSINESS.
